Challenge Event Series
Fundraising events are one of the most important ways that we raise money to sustain our programme of good works across Manchester. But at We Love MCR Charity, much like our city, we tend to do things a bit differently...

Each year, we host unique mind-over-matter fundraisers as part of our Challenge Event Series. The Series gives our loyal supporters a chance to raise vital funds for our work, whilst coming away with unforgettable memories!

St. Ann's Square - 25th January 2024, 5:45pm to 7pm
This January, the ONLY firewalk to ever take place in Manchester city centre returns to St. Ann's Square!

We Love MCR Charity and 50 brave firewalkers made history in 2021, raising a scorching £18,000 in the process for our work with Manchester's unbeatable communities and young people.

This time we're doubling the thrill by doubling the lanes, and we have award-winning international samba reggae percussion band Batala Manchester joining us to add to the atmosphere! Giving generous and fearless fundraisers the chance to test their resolve, and brave the coals in this ultimate mind-over-matter challenge...
