Eurosonic Group raise £35k+ for We Love MCR!

The incredible donation comes from sales of their stylish ‘Hive’ range of kitchenware.

Eurosonic Group (ESG) are a specialist supplier in quality homeware, kitchenware and electrical supplies, founded as a family business in Manchester and last year they launched their latest product range.

The ‘Hive’ range made a nod to Mancunian identity, and ESG generously pledged to donate a percentage of sales to support our work with Manchester’s communities and young people.

The partnership has since proven to be immensely successful, and one of We Love MCR’s best to date. Luke Bradshaw, Design & Marketing Manager at Eurosonic Group, said:

“At ESG: Eurosonic Group we were looking to help those in need during these trying times. We decided to choose We Love MCR Charity. This is partly because we as a company are based in the heart of Manchester and wanted to give back to the city we love.
We developed a range of products in collaboration with We Love MCR through our popular Daewoo brand. The end result is the Hive range of products. A range of kettles and toasters that look stylish in any kitchen yet have a subtle reference to the Manchester worker bee in their Hive effect design.
With 5% from each sale of the products going to We Love MCR we initially raised an incredible £20,000. This was commemorated back in February by a visit from the then Lord Mayor of the City of Manchester, Councillor Thomas Judge and the Lady Mayoress at our premises. We presented them with a cheque and The Lord Mayor passed on his gratitude.

Since then, we’ve raised even more money for the charity and the current figure stands at an outstanding £35,250! We hope all money raised will help this amazing charity in their future endeavours and we hope to continue adding to this total."

ESG’s generosity ensures we can continue to both change the lives of ambitious young people in this city, through our Manchester’s Rising Stars Fund, and keep bringing the best out of our neighbourhoods, through our Stronger Communities Fund.

A huge Manc thanks to Eurosonic Group from everyone at We Love MCR!
